Class 2A Boys & Girls Basketball Regional Projections Week 11 (Saturday Morning Update)
Remember to qualify for Regionals you must be ranked inside the top 32 or win your League (If you have 5 or more teams). This week we breakdown the race to host plus the teams sitting on the bubble. We will do this for every class. At the end I pick the 8 teams I think make it to state based on my projections. Final Two Weeks of Regular Season Action!

Class 2A
- League Champions earn an automatic berth in the playoffs as long as they win their league outright. Each league must have a minimum of 5 teams in it for an automatic berth.
- Seeding Criteria for the 32-team state bracket-CHSAA Seeding & Selection Index published after the regular season. Seeds 9-16 are true seeded except to try and avoid league matchups in the First Round Only. Teams may be moved one spot up or down. Seeds 17-32 may be moved up to two spots based upon geography & League matchups.
- First Two Rounds of the state tournament (Regionals) will be hosted by the top seed in that quadrant of the bracket, over two days. (4-teams total).
- Top 8 teams will advance through the bracket. The bracket Will Not be reseeded before State. Class 2A Great 8 will play a full consolation bracket.
Class 2A Girls
First Four Out & Bubble Watch
Ridgway (33), Twin Peaks Classical (34), Custer County (35), Crowley County (36)
Things are very close in on the bubble for Class 2A Girls. #31 Golden View Classical is at .4917, #32 Crested Butte is .4904, and #33 Ridgway is at .4885. Of the three teams mentioned only Crested Butte has a game remaining against Trinidad. I do not believe Crested Butte holds onto the #32 spot without a win over Trinidad. Probably the closest teams have been for the final couple spots.
Bracket- League matchups will be avoided in the first round only. 8 Regional winners qualifying for state. State will not be re-seeded! And play a consolation bracket!

Class 2A Boys
First Four Out & Bubble Watch
Crested Butte (33), Sargent (34), Del Norte (35), Rangely (36)
The bubble in Class 2A Boys bubble was about completed but a big upset last night may have opened it a bit. Loveland Classical flew down the rankings after falling to Flagler. #32 Loveland Classical is now sitting at .478 with #33 Crested Butte at .467. Loveland Classical has completed their games for the regular season and Crested Butte still has one game against Center remaining tomorrow. A win by Crested Butte over Center could be enough especially since Center is sitting inside the top 20.
