Baseball CHSAA Selection and Seeding Index Update April 8^th (Class 1A thru 3A)

I will be posting the CHSAA Selecting and Seeding Index every Monday & Friday.  Class 3A and Class 2A, 32 teams qualify for the regional tournament based on the CHSAA Selection and Seeding Index.  League Champions outside the top 32 with a minimum of 5 teams get an automatic berth.  The 8 teams with the Highest CHSAA Seeding Index will host a regional.  Teams will be seeded by the CHSAA Seeding and Selection Index.  Class 2A & Class 3A will play Double Elimination State Tournaments.  Class 1A is a bit different with each District Qualifying their top two teams.  With 5 total Districts.  The next six teams in the Seeding Index will also make regionals.  If a District has fewer than 5 teams, then it will receive just one automatic qualifier.  District Champions will be seeded 1-5 by Seeding index with top 4 hosting a regional and the remaining will be seeded by CHSAA Seeding Index avoiding First-Round District Matchups.
