8-Man Football Playoff Predictions Semifinals and Full Bracket
First, this is just my opinion. I would love to hear or see your thoughts on how the 6-man bracket turns out. Second, Good Luck to all teams! I do not cheer against any teams. We will have a full breakdown of the games posted tomorrow by Kerry Sherman!!!
8-Man Playoff Predictions State Championship Only
#4 Simla over #2 Dove Creek
What a semifinal round! Simla pulled one of the biggest upsets in sometime knocking off the defending state champions and I am guessing most peoples pick to win the 8-Man state title. Simla has not completed the job and must quickly get focused and ready for the State Championship. Simla was able to play as physical as Haxtun last week and will need the same effort on both sides of the ball. Look for Caston Cox and Brayden Glover to have their fingerprints all over this game. Dove Creek had a great Semifinal game blasting league rival Mancos. Dove Creek will also need to refocus and must be ready to play physical football. Dove Creek will turn to leader Kade Hankins to have a great game and Kendall Garner and Gage Buffington to be great weapons on offense. Believe it or not I do believe this game will come down to defense. Both teams have proved thru the season they can handle multiple weapons and I expect this to be a more defensive game. I am guessing a score like 28-21 and I expect this to be a close game with anyone winning this game. Good Luck to both teams!
