6-Man League Predictions Update Week 6
Every year during the preseason I give my league prediction. This year I am going to update them just one time before we enter league play. I will have my original predictions so you can compare from the preseason. I will also just quickly breakdown each league. At the end I give the 16 teams I think make the playoffs. 6-Man League 1

League One, has some changes as went enter the 6th week of the regular season. Peetz has emerged as the possible team to win the league and they face Fleming Thursday and could take a big step towards winning the league. We do have some shuffling of teams around from the preseason. The biggest riser was Briggsdale who jumps from #5 to #3. Briggsdale already has a win over Prairie. As far as playoff contenders Peetz, Briggsdale, Fleming, Prairie, and North Park all appear to be in the hunt.
My predictions for the League One

East Central League

The East Central league so far has proven to be the toughest league in 6-Man. No changes to the top 2 teams as Stratton and Otis remain undefeated. Idalia, Arickaree, and Genoa-Hugo have the biggest swap especially after Arickaree upset Genoa-Hugo. I still believe Genoa-Hugo could finish third in the league but the best they can do is force a 3-way tie with Idalia and Arickaree. Looking at Playoff Contenders Stratton, Otis, Idalia, Arickaree, and Genoa-Hugo are all ranked inside the top 10 currently in the seeding Index. I believe all 5 will get in.
My predictions for the East Central League
League Champion: Stratton
Playoff Contenders: Stratton, Genoa-Hugo, Otis, Idalia, Arickaree
6-Man League Three

League 3 is the worst league in 6-man currently. If you look towards the playoffs my guess is just the league champion gets in and that game takes place on 10/14 when Kiowa and Hanover face off. Kiowa took a big step when they defeated Deer Trail last week. Hanover remains my pick to win the league.

East League

The east league continues to be one of the toughest leagues in the 6-Man ranks. I have a completely different order as we enter the 6th week of the regular season. Granada is my new pick to win the league and they have a key win over Walsh already. Eads makes the biggest jump from the preseason from #5 to #3. They can solidify that when they face Cheyenne Wells. Winner of that game should finish 3rd and loser will finish 4th in the league. Looking towards the playoffs. Granada and Walsh are currently in the top 10. Cheyenne Wells and Eads are in the top 16 currently and in the playoff hunt. Cheraw and Kit Carson are outside the top 16 and will need to turn things up to get into the playoffs.

Southwest League

The Southwest League remains a very competitive league and we will see how things shake out. The top two remain the same in the Southwest League but after that we see changes. Primero already defeated La Veta and jump into the #3 spot. La Veta falls into the #4 spot but look for an upset of the top 2 teams same goes with Primero. Injuries have hit Mountain Valley hard they still face the majority of the league but will be looking for development of the younger players. Looking towards the playoffs Branson/Kim and Sierra Grande are inside the top 10 currently. Primero and La Veta are inside the top 16 and will be looking to secure a playoff spot. Sangre De Cristo and Mountain Valley are inside the top 21 and will need a major win to get into the top 16.
