8-Man Football Playoff Predictions Quarterfinals and Full Bracket

8-Man Playoff Predictions Quarterfinals Only

#1 Mancos over #9 Sedgwick County

This is going to be a very good matchup. Mancos has been on a role defensively posting 4 straight shutouts and now they face a very physical Sedgwick County team. Sedgwick County dominated in their opening round game but face a very physical Mancos defense. Should be a great matchup between two teams who want to dominate up front.

#4 Lyons over #5 Dove Creek

Lyons opened the playoffs with a dominate win over Akron 60 to 12. Lyons will look to advance past the quarterfinals this season. Last year Lyons fell to Mancos in the Quarterfinals. Dove Creek had a few key injuries last week and hope they are full strength. They had a key performance to advance. This could be a high scoring games as both offenses are able to put up points in a hurry.

#2 Simla over #7 Merino

Merino could be playing their best football of the season. They picked up the upset on Haxtun to end the year then grab a last-minute win over McClave last week. Merino will need to play very physical defense again this week. Simla rolled in their opening round game but face a much tougher defense in the Quarterfinals. I am very interested to see how the battle in the trenches go that will be key to the game.

#3 Haxtun over #6 Byers

I am very intrigued by this matchup. Byers grabbed a very physical win over Sanford last week and face another physical team this week. Haxtun rolled to the win but will face a tough opponent who can play physical football. I think this is a close battle but I do think experience will be key.
