Mile High Prep Report Top Returning O-Lines Class 1A
Picking the top returning Offensive Lineman was a very challenging feat. It was a lot of digging through who was lost and who is coming back. An offensive line could be hurt by departures of a few players or could be strengthen. This was one of the toughest things to pick so I am not putting them in any order. If you think I am missing someone or have the wrong info please message me so I can fix.
High School | Stats |
Centauri HS | Centauri is your defending state champions, and a big part was their offensive line. This year they will nearly return the entire group losing just 1 senior from last years offensive line. Blade Absmeier and Troy Huffaker are two of the main leaders for Centauri. This group will be very important to help a new group of skill position players. |
Limon HS | Limon will lose a few key pieces from last years offensive line and replacing their leadership is key for this group. Limon will return at least 3 starters on the offensive line but replacing leadership is key. Miguel Nunez and Kaden Becker are two I could see stepping into the leadership role for Limon. |
Buena Vista HS | Buena Vista will return nearly their entire offensive line from last season. Buena Vista will lose just 1 senior from last year, but that leadership must be replaced. Plenty of upcoming senior will look to be leaders on a very good offensive line. |
Monte Vista HS | Monte Vista will return 4 starters this season on the offensive line this season and this group will anchor what could be a dangerous rushing attack. Monte Vista will look for the playoffs again this year and look for this group to take a big step this season. Alejandro Felix and Jack Noonan are the leaders of this group. |
Wray HS | Wray will return their core of their offensive line from last season. Wray will return at least 2 starters from last season if not more. Tell Wade is the leader of the offensive line and look for this group to anchor a dangerous offensive unit. |
Wiggins HS | Wiggins will lose possibly 2 starters on the offensive line from last season but return a very talented core. Pepper Rusher and Laith Ibrahim will lead a very talented group and Wiggins offensively could be the most dangerous in 1A this year. |
Holyoke HS | Holyoke will lose possibly 2 or 3 starters on the offensive line from last season but look for the core group to step up and be leaders this season. Holyoke returns size in Jefferey Espinoza and Kayden Porter. These two with a handful of other upcoming seniors will anchor a tough offensive line. |
C.S Christian | C.S Christian will return nearly their entire offensive line from last season. C.S Christian lose just 1 senior from last years offensive line. Alex Niederhauser and Josh Neal are two players that could step up big for C.S Christian this season. The offensive line for C.S Christian will be key for this team to reach the playoffs. |
Meeker HS | Meeker will possibly lose 3 starters on the offensive line but a big upcoming Junior class look to anchor this offensive line. Leadership will be key to this group and look for Tanner Musser and Chase Callahan to be the new leaders. Meeker offensive line will be key to helping a young backfield get up to speed quickly. |
Strasburg | Strasburg was hit hard by graduation once again but the tradition for Strasburg is why this unit is always tough. Jackson Brown, Michael Ayers, and Al Dickens are three players that could step up and be leaders for Strasburg. This unit gaining experience is key for Strasburg heading into this season. |
North Fork HS | North Fork is another team who was hit hard by graduation possibly losing 4 starters on the offensive line. North Fork also has good tradition so look for this unit to quickly turn it around. This unit could be young this season but don’t expect much of a set back for North Fork. |
Banning Lewis | Banning Lewis will be entering their 3rd year as a program and will return at least 4 starters on the offensive line. A big upcoming Junior class will have to step up and be leaders for Banning Lewis this season. |
Flatirons Academy | Flatirons Academy was very young last season and will return their entire offensive line this year. This group will look to take a big step this year and senior Josiah Durrill and Tucker Ryan will be key for this group to take the next step. |
Other Potential Offensive Line to Watch | Gunnison, Cedaredge, Peyton, Center, Yuma, Rye, Estes Park, Burlington, Platte Canyon, Roaring Fork |
