6-Man Football Playoff Team Predictions & Projections Week 9
This year to reach the playoffs is simple either win your league title or be inside the top 16 of the RPI. After they select the 16 teams that make the playoffs, they use the CHSAA Seeding Index to seed the playoffs. This week I will be giving my predictions on who makes the playoffs, but I will also look at if the season ended today who would make the playoffs at the end. I am also giving a bubble/RPI breakdown in the Playoff Prediction Part.

6-Man Playoff Predictions (Who I think make the playoffs)
This is who I think make the playoffs. In the 6-Man ranks all league champions are guaranteed a berth. The rest will be selected by RPI. 10 At-Large berths will be given out and are selected via RPI. Seeding is determined by CHSAA Seeding Index. I am picking my 10 At-Large teams based on remaining schedule and RPI. League Champions are posted first then the At-Large Teams.

Playoff Hunt for Final Spots & Bubble/RPI Breakdown
Hi-Plains and Otis
In all honestly, I believe 5 teams are fighting for the final 3 spots. I think Hanover is far enough ahead of the #14 spot to be locked in. I believe Mountain Valley is nearly a lock as well. Even if Mountain Valley loses to Eads, I think they get in AS LONG as they don’t lose to Kiowa. Eads is the biggest question mark. If Eads wins both games (against Mountain Valley & Hi-Plains) they are in. If Eads splits the two games, I think they get in depending on how they split. If they lose to Mountain Valley and beat Hi-Plains I think they get in. If it’s reversed, then it comes down to them and North Park. Hi-Plains gets in beating Eads in the final game (& Cripple Creek). Hi-Plains could also still get in losing to Eads but then it comes down to decimal points with North Park. North Park first must beat Cotopaxi plain and simple. North Park then must cheer for all teams they played and then hope things fall in their favor. North Park needs either Eads to fall in their final 2 games or Hi-Plains to lose to Eads. Otis is the other team I included, and they need to win this week against Pawnee and upset Prairie. Only way Otis can get in is by upsetting Prairie.

This is if the season ended today 10/20/2021. League Champions have already been decided. In the 6-Man ranks all league champions are guaranteed a berth. The rest will be selected by RPI. I will seed the bracket with my take at the CHSAA Seeding Index. This is nothing official and just my take at the index.
